The popularity of social media, entertainment and mobile applications has resulted in an increase in video usage over mobile networks. This has been further compounded by the rapidly increasing amount of HD quality video content being generated and consumed. Improving efficiency of video content transport on networks would help to deliver a faster and smoother experience to customers on every screen at any time.

We are looking for next generation video compression technologies to be deployed within the 3G and 4G mobile network infrastructure which address this challenge to enable video to be transported at lower bitrates (e.g. Enable UHD quality vide at HD bitrates, HD at SD bitrates and SD at sub-audio bitrates.)
