Calling students, practitioners, entrepreneurs and researchers

Around the world people are working longer - not just longer hours but longer career spans. It is projected that the retirement age in high-income countries will escalate to 70 by the year 2035! However, in most developed countries, the population of younger workers cannot replace the number of workers entering retirement. So, how might we re-consider our approach to the workplace and working culture as we look towards a rapidly aging workforce?

Send us your ideas on how you can improve the modern-day workplace to facilitate a better outcome for the aging workforce! If selected, you will be able to work alongside academics, innovators and project managers in a Design Incubation process to help you to realise your design. Selected teams will also get to pitch their ideas directly to industry and government influencers in this area.

This event will help you to:
Better understand the current issues associated with the aging workforce
Help you understand how to structure and realise new design solutions
for important social issues
Learn how to create simple prototype design solutions
Shape and present a pitch for review by potential clients
Make valuable industry contacts
