Come join us at this Kopi Chat with our key speaker Mahendra Ramsinghani, Founder of Secure Octane, who has two decades of investment experience in security companies and their products. He will be sharing some of the best practices of successful cybersecurity founders.

At the same time, we have specially invited Karachach Sadybakasova, Co-founder and CEO of IOTsploit, and Michael Francoise, Programme Director of CyLon (Cyber London) for UK and Singapore to be part of the panel. Karachach will relate her experiences, challenges and journey as she and her team build their novel cybersecurity technology from Singapore. Michael, on the other hand, will tell us more bout how cybersecurity startups can access to mentorship and funding support through ICE71, Asia’s first cybersecurity hub.

Mahendra is the founder of Secure Octane, a Silicon Valley based cyber security seed fund. He has invested in leading security startups in security automation, deception networks and cyber risk / insurance. Mahendra is the organizer of Bay Area Security Startups, a monthly meetup with 500+ members.  

He blogs regularly about security trends. His articles have been published in Forbes, TechCrunch, MIT Technology Review and Huffington Post. He is the author of two leading books on venture capital and startups - “The Business of Venture Capital” (Wiley Finance, 2014) and “Startup Boards” (Wiley, 2014) co-authored with noted investor Brad Feld.

His educational background includes a B.Engg (Electronics) and MBA (Finance and Marketing) from University of Pune, India.
