Stew is a successful entrepreneur from San Francisco. He has spent the last decade building companies – resulting in four successful exits. The largest – Mint.com was sold to Intuit for USD $170 million. He also founded Visual.ly - which raised over USD $20 million and sold to Scribble (preparing to go IPO). Stew is an angel investor and has worked with top venture-backed startups – including Uber, Twitter, Facebook, Domo, Credit Sesame, etc.

In this Kopi Chat session, Stew will detail the value of spending time early in a startup’s life to build a strong brand - one that evokes instant meaning and emotion to target audiences. A strong brand increases value in all aspects - including fundraising, customer acquisition, hiring, and ultimately sale/IPO. Specific strategies, tactics, and steps will be outlined - giving current startups a blueprint to take immediate action.
